Experience
Founder and CEO at Tzofan Cyber Ltd. July 2016 - Present
With suite of innovative ciphers and algorithms - Tzofan brings new approach to protect wireless data communication within critical infrastructures and mission critical devices where security can't tolerate any compromise.
Implementing highest grade security on the most challenging IOT to GW comms with
efficiency that compensates the limited computation constraints and limited battery operated power resources.
Real time SW Eng. at Afimilk Ltd. 2008 - 2016 (8 years)
Developed from scratch (including CPU and radio selection) the firmware of wireless network of battery operated tags that communicate the cow's profile of health, fertility and eating/drinking habits, operating at extremely low power 5 years on a single 1000 mAmp button cell battery. I designed a proprietary sub-GHz communication protocol with capability to concatenate lost packets to bridge up to 12 hours no-comms without loss.
Developed the firmware of the next generation milk-meter including pulsation control, automatic removal, accurate milk yield and milk conductivity and temperature. Developed the firmware of accurate weight for cows during walking including the mathematical model and algorithm
Developed the POC and evaluation platform for sensors in the dairy farm including MEMS accelerometers, proximity sensors, temperature, pressure, optical reflection and absorption.
Developed logger tag that writes to micro-SD card the records from various sensors providing 3D accelerometer, battery level, and temperature at 50Hz sampling rate for accurate lameness detection, ear tag and rumination monitoring algorithm development.
Developed Bluetooth wearable sensor to log accurate (0.1 °C ) cows' temperature, interacting via Android Smartphone application.
Embedded Software Engineer 2004 - 2008 (4 years)
Developed firmware for network of Fire detection sensors to the large industrial scale (airports, campuses, hospitals). The network includes over 20 types of sensors with multi-level clusters.
Developed simulation module to test system load and alarm scenarios. Develop supervision modules, indicators and self diagnostics.
Verified the system approval and compliance with the NZ and AUS fire detection and alarm in buildings standard.
Developed boot-loading capability and supervised firmware upgrade in modules across the network
